Parents / Carers View
We’d like to encourage all existing parents/carers to visit Ofsted’s ‘Parent View’ website.
An excerpt from their website best describes how visiting their site and leaving feedback can be of great benefit to you, your children and The Caldecott School:
‘Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. We will use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when. By sharing your views, you’ll be helping your child’s school to improve’.

Strengths are evident with Early Reading in the primary phase; Forest School and Therapy where practitioners are very much an integral part of the education team . The teaching of reading is well developed
Bullying is taken seriously and well managed
Staff help pupils regulate behaviour well, responding calmly and quietly to deregulated behaviours, resulting in pupils feeling secure and safe
Safeguarding is effective and well managed: There are strong links with other agencies and the relationship with parents and carers is excellent
There is a focus on training and CPD for safeguarding and child protection
