Eco Schools Green Flag Award
Eco councilors from the Primary and Secondary school have now met to discuss their goals for this academic year. The Primary pupils have agreed a series of goals to work towards combatting litter in school and the wider community. Litter picks in different environments is just one of the actions that they have agreed to take. The Secondary pupils are going to work hard towards improving their global citizenship where they intend to fundraise, engage with political figures and work with their peers in pupil voice to make changes around the school to improve sustainability.
What’s next…
In the new year we will be looking to organise a trip to SGS energy who supply our solar panels. As part of this experience we will learn more about different examples of renewable energy and the positive impact our solar panels are having on our environment.
